What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was 75, sunny, gorgeous. Today we launched to mid to upper forties and wind. The first hour was corn fusing as the tide hadn't changed and the east wind was keeping us all cattywampus. We set and reset the anchor. The wind never quit today. Once we started to sit right, the fish wouldn't bite. Two small keepers. We moved around and marked plenty of fish but, no cooperating fish. Then we found the right depth and hit pay dirt. No pigs today but, after finding active fish, the action was non stop. Good conversation today too with a good two man crew. Matt will be most popular guy in the neighborhood as he is taking the entire cooler for a fish fry and inviting his neighbors.
