If you go up the miami aways theres an old gravel pit thats good fishing,
but several lures work pretty good there, small crawdad lures like the zoom vibra craw is good, a junebug 6-7 inch worm is good, a single gold colorado spinnerbait works, and any small profile crankbait...with all the rain we've had and more to come, the river should be pretty good. Hope ya find some shade!...I wouldn't rule out top water, try the popR, even tho the top water bite here is "iffy'.....we only live about 40 minutes north of where you'll be fishing at...so good luck to ya ! |

The the miami dumps into the the ohio river just north of tanners, and the gravel pit it attached to the miami, theres usually people water skiing on it, but not bad fishing. Should be able to get some LM and SM

Try the Rebel brand Crawdads, they come in different sizes and colors....work very well in your area. Just got a report from a friend who was canoeing and fihsing the Miami last week end....he did very well on a rebel craw.
