Crummy weather!
Weather's getting really wet around here, it's been raining here nonstop since monday night, I think we've got like 15" of rain since than too! I bet fishing has been GREAT though, it's fishable as long as it's not drenching or lightinging, hope fully it'll stay till friday.
Hope fully we'll get some cooler weather after this thing though. So how's the weather with you guys?

Well some of that 15" of rain is coming this way and it's 31.8 degrees outside my house right now which means the snow is coming. 12-15" of snow plus is predicted by Sunday morning. That amount of snow will shut things down around here for a couple days which doesn't bother me. My only problem is I was going deer hunting tomorrow after noon . Hopefully I can still get out on Mon or Tues maybe.

Yep in Orlando the weather has been the same. The fishing has still been good i've been using flippin, wacky rig, shakey head. Thats what's been working. My buddy was catching them on fire and ice culprit worms all week over here.

For the past week..
Rain has stopped, ponds are full and clarity is starting to return. High temperature of 81 today. Basically a San Diego Christmas

My local weather sucks.
I need to get the flipping stick out and practice hitting holes, maybe later this week. The holes would be holes drilled in the ice though, it's -14F right now. At least it is going to warm up considerably in the next few days. |

Wow! Definitely cold for y'all, and snowy for sure! At least it's a Christmas with snow for most of you, I've only had one!
Cass, your weather sounds pretty much like our weather here! Waffle, that sounds real nice! ~~~ I plan to go fishing at a river/park, the snooks are in there this time of year!

It's still snowing. Had 5" in 2 hours last night. Got home after 8:30 with about 1/2". Took first pic at 10:30 and had 5" + on the deck. Here's a couple pics from today and it's really coming down now. 2" an hour easy. Probably have 15" or close to it.
This storm will probably be a December record for Fburg and finish in top 10 if it keeps up. DC only has 8" or so and won't be a record. |

It's crazy. We normally get out and fish a couple times over the break and have a day or two in the 50's to 60 degrees. Not this year .
Looks like I'll need to take the tarp/cover back and get it replaced. One year warrently and it's torn . I think I have the receipt. Looks like I'm not hunting this afternoon either..... |

I saw that it's slowed down or stopped down there on the news. Still coming down here. I'm guessing we'll have 20"+ by the time it's done.

No snow here yet. But LOTS of rain and the temps are hovering close to or right at freezing. Hopefully there won't be any icing on the roads. I HATE WINTER! I CAN'T STAND WINTER! Around here it is grey skies and cold and wet and gloomy. But then there is spring and i am so glad when it comes. 3d, lash, i really feel for you guys. Also all of you up in the northern states as well. Ya'll got BALLS to live way up there. I would go CRAZY if i was up there. I tip my crimson cap to you all.

Well lucky for you the weather is going to warm up to a nice 40 for a high by the end of this week. Oh and rain the next three days. So the river will still be pretty much be unfishable (with the dams open on both ends). Doesn't mean I won't try though.
