Yes, I've heard of it, but it doesn't appeal to me. The basic promotion for this product is that it makes your bait the brightest thing in the water. That claim may be true. However, it does not logically follow that just because a lure is brighter it will be more likely to draw a strike. If that were the case, we'd have long ago discarded our shad, bluegill, perch, crawfish and other natural colors and fished exclusively with fluorescent polka dot chartreuse and orange.

I'm sure it works as well as an "As Seen on TV" item.

if you want the brightest thing in water, take a small penlight, keep it on, and put something waterproof around it. i doubt it would work, but hey, youd have the brightest thing in the water

This goes right along with Marty's observations......but concerning walleye specifically.... If you have glo in the dark components on the rig or lure, and if the glow is bright, they tend to shy away from the lure....if a dull or soft glow is presented, the walleye will be drawn by it. May or may not be true of other species.

seems like one of those gimicky fishing products, but who knows; some of them actually turn out to be quite effective. if we needed something shiny i guess we'd have cubic zirconium all over our baits.
