Nice start
I pulled out an old set-up for fishing the hollow frogs. Started my day with it yesterday. First fish that hit might have weighed a little over a pound. I set the hook..rod in left hand..reel handle in right hand. Almost 3 feet apart. Reel came off in my hand. I managed to get re-assembled and land the fish but considered getting back in the truck and going home.

HAHAHA, that would leave me wondering about the karma of the whole thing too. lol But if you can reassemble and land the fish before he shakes loose, it's also a good omen.

Fortunately for me it was not a big bass. It was well hooked though. |
