My wife Michelle and I got out Saturday for a few hours at my favorite place, Worster Lake. Nothing big to brag about, but we finally got some decent sized bas that were at least above minimum size. haha We both caught five apiece. Had a great time. This lake is in a State Park, almost 600 acres, and not a house on the lake. Surrounded by forest and field. Beautiful place. Electric motors only too so no skiers or jet skis! Funny story though. Found a canoe completely submerged in the middle of the lake with 3 college aged guys. It was still floating but only the end tips were exposed. One inside the canoe trying to paddle for shore, the other two holding the canoe and trying to swim it to shore. And they were exhausted! So I hooked them to a tow line and towed them to shore. The funny thing was WHY the canoe was submerged. When my wife asked them how they ended up under water, they confessed that once they got mid way across the lake, a mouse ran out from under one of the seats and they freaked. HAHAHA I think I would have come up with a good lie!

A ... MOUSE? Three college guys freaking out about a MOUSE ??? Somebody needs to keep tabs on those guys and warn the first woman each one proposes to. And, did they have life jackets?
Nice fish, Watter, Keith and Michelle. |

I don't remember if they had jackets or not. I would assume they did since they we launching at the state park. I think it was a rental canoe.
