Hey Tenn
I read the boat description w/o looking at the price. For where I am in MO, I was thinking if you could get that boat for $5k you would be doing pretty good...given the motor checks out. I think it's a go. Now on the motor...I am a good troubleshooter and can always get the easy stuff taken care of...but not so good at the big problems or anything. So every used boat I have purchased has had an independent marine mechanic look at the motor...just to tell me where we are at. Good $50 bucks spent if you ask me. If the seller minds...he probably has something to hide. Good luck and I hope you can get the rig. Looks like a nice setup. John

i agree with mo here. see if the owner will let oyu take it to a shopp to be checked out. if he says no, walk away. otherwise it sounds like a good deal. offer him a little less though. say.....3850.00 and see waht he says. bet he'll come off his price some.
