Question about paint
is it possible to paint a tracker boat? what kind of paint would you uses what steps would you take? I thought about wrapping it in vinyl but paint might last alot longer.

I had my tracker repainted about 3 years ago. Still holding up pretty well. But i did all the prep work. I went to Walmart and got some googone and stripped the boat down to bare metal. Lots of work but i feel it was worth it. But i was told if my boat already had a good base of primer that wan't necessary. Just a few things you may want to look into.
I was emailing or calling paint companies customer service to answer my questions. Best advice i have is call a good local auto paint dealer and get him to give you a sales rep number and call him. If the rep is any good he should be able to answer your questions. |
