well i tried something new
I guess the whole texas rig deal works a little wieght on a yum zellamander (man i love that action). Two fish in like 10 minutes. after looking through my tackle box for something to throw i found these. I need to clean out my box. Any of you guys ever looked through the front compartment of a tackle bag and realized you had like 300 dollars worth of platics there and not even really remember buying them haha.

Yeah, a few weeks ago, I forgot my top water plano and kicked myself in the phanny for forgetting it since my gut told me topwater was going to be a good choice.
Then, as I was putting a crankbait back in my backpack, low and behold I found an unopened Rapala Skitter Walk that I bought a lonnng time ago that I completely forgot about. Needless to say, I got a nice bass (at least for my neck of the woods) in about 10 casts or so. I love finding lure surprises!

i found a new tactic aswell, i usually fish zoom flukes weightless and twitch em` but one day when i went fishin with my uncle we were fishing texas rigs with worms and lizards and stuff and we werent catching anything, and we wanted to use flukes but we were to lazy to retie so we threw the flukes on with a prolly 1\4 oz. or lil larger weight and we started catching fish. never thunk it before but its pretty effective. guess it looks like a dying/struggling fish on the bottom
