just keep on keeping on man. remember this as an outside linebacker ( i played it), always stay in your position, never let anything outside you. turn the runner in.watch and read the qb on options. and if the ball goes the other way.... stay BEHIND the line of scrimmage, cause it could be a reverse later. hit em hard enough to see snot bubbles too, lmao. man i loved doing that............

well at 5'8" 130..i might can.. i was 135..till two-a-days.... now i'm about 125-130 but my dad was nose guard 4-12th grade and graduated at 120lbs...5'7" i'm a junior so i got him beat i'm having problems with cover 2 out of 4-4 cuz i'm the flats man.. and covering a couple of our plays has two men in the flats...and i cant cover two men at once and by the time i realize theres two i split the diffrence and watch the qb and i'm too late.. but cover 1 4-4 is man on man and cover3 4-4 is just hook -curl.. so thats easy..

we dont have official positions yet but he was writing the roster info today and scrimmage tomorrow so we'll find out its balls to the wall tomorrow.. no time on the game..jsut 6:00 start and play till we dont feel like playing anymore

well first scrimmage i sat out second i got a little playing time ..like 1 series... (we played 60 plays offense and defense in 10 play series)
then after the game i found out that we were supposed to be subbing ourself in.. so last night i was gunna go in the second series and then he called 1st D back in.. then next series i got to play half the series..next drive i got the full series then we quit..... cuz they scored two td's on us................

but i got 4 tackles... 2 being wide left plays and i play right side...

one i got rocked on though.. i got up and ran the wrong direction.. lol

Well gang.. off to school

the hardest i EVER got hit wuz by a fella about 5'2"...jeff craven wuz his name. weighed about 130 with full pads on, blindesided me, hahaha. yea... i still see stars today thinking bout it. but yes i did get him back the next day. he laughed about it. oh yea.. i am 6'1" and then i weighed around 180#. not too big, but alot bigger than him. i loved ol, de on defense. played strong guard on offense. one of the fastest men on the team and played guard, hahaha. went to a very small school (2A). if i went to a larger school i may have just played defense. but hey.... that wuz what .........30 years ago?!?! hahahaha. now i am the greatest armchair qb in da nation!! hahaha. oh........ROLL TIDE!! but for real, i loved defense, especialy when you got to blind side the opposing qb on a pass play, ROCK HIS WORLD AND KNOCK THE SNOT BUBBLES OUTA HIM! next play, he was looking for me, lmao. mr. you just keep on hitting em hard. put your whole body into it and you'll be fine pal. kepp us posted on your process.

Undefeated so far, we play other development and street teams in backyard football... 20 yards first down. Our D-line has broken one person's fibia and tore another kids ACL. I play receiver and corner

The hardest I got hit was in junior high and by a team mate. I was the biggest and the other boy was the healthiest. I ate all the time and he worked out all the time. Coach had us practicing hitting and blocking and when it came to me and him we had something to prove. We got a running start and headed for each other, bound and determained not to let the other get the lower center of gravity. Our pads hit square on each others shoulders and we stopped right there, sat down and waited for our vision to come back and our teeth to stop rattling. Couldn't tell if our nose was running or bleeding at first cause it took awhile before we could see again. I felt that knock slide down my shoulder, down my spin, down my legs, then out my toes. We never felt the need to prove anything to each other again.

yeah we dont hit hard in practice.. since we had 604 people last year total enrolement at the academy.. K3-12th so we take what we can get ..normally playing with 18 at the most people we have 48 total varsity and JV ...14 being JV... i love it.. last night we got thrown on our butts at the jamboree though it was are rival team. We dropped ourselves to 2A from 3A due to totally sucking with 18 people..

played a little safety last night.. pretty much sucked.. at 5-4 and safety cover 1 its man-on-man for TE... and he was grabbing my facemask and pushing it down.. it sucked but i had to keep him from getting the ball and everyone else did the rest.. so i had fun bear hugging and falling on my beehindd.. lol

lifting and practice monday.. first game is friday.. we get a bye the first week lol

no,no,no. that ain't da piont man. you gotta take the dominant role here pal. you jam him and slpa him around, talk smack to him. get into his head. then you are making him worry about you instead of what he is supposed to do. after that you make an interception and run fo da TOUCHDOWN!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! see if you can watch some old clips of a feller named tatun from the oakland raiders. he wuz one of the greatest db's in da game. he ruled.
