This length = weight chart is pretty accurate..... for normal bass that is.

Where you getting that chart from? Is that from a PA fish and boat commission site?

Not sure the original source...dude on another board I visit sent it to me> We use it on the board to figure weights in a WR format...good equalizer for contests.

Wow, I measure and weigh a lot of the fish we catch on "our" lake, and they typically go almost a pound higher than that chart starting at 14" and on up.

That chart is based off PA state average fish, so in your state...might be a little different.
