How long can someone "ride" the bassmaster championship

just wondering, no offense to any of them, i was talking to some fisherman today and they were talking about liking the ish frog, one said ish has never won or placed high in BM classic, it got me thinking, Clunn, Parker, Reese, KVD, Ike and now Lane, are the legends, most people know and they are making lures or putting there name on stuff, i expect that, but how long can that possibly last, till the just stop winning or qualifieying, i know Clun, Parker, and KVD can probably sell and market forever, So whats your take, i hope this makes since, as this came out unorganized. Guess what i am trying to say is if these Bassmasters just stop, wonder how long it will be till they would stop being marketable, again no disrespect towards these guys
