What'd he say?
Over the years I've read hundreds of articles by Professional fisherman and paid Outdoor writers. I've picked up some useful information and learned a lot, but sometimes..................?? take a look at these two quotes that are just too strange to make up.
Here's a couple from http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/...s_fishing.html this one is about using soft plastics in the winter "A good tip here is to keep your baits warm. I place a few imitations into a plastic bag and keep them in my pocket. This keeps the bait flexible and will work well in frigid water temperatures. Remember small attention to details like that will separate you from the rest of the fishermen, and you will catch more fish." this one is about winter ledge fishing with a jig "The reason for the heavy football head is that this is a jig you drag on the bottom in deep water. It works great down 30 to 60 feet. Fish it around the steepest ledges and drop-offs you can find. Bass like vertical breaks in the winter. They will usually bite the jig at the top of the ledge, but sometimes they will be at the bottom of a vertical break, assuming of course that there is a bottom to your ledge" I've seen dozens and dozens of these warm rubber worms and bottomless ledge type of statements....WTF? If you've got any similar cut and pastes I'd love to read them. I'd post some more right now but I've got a pocket full of Senko's that are burning a hole in my pocket and beggin to be thrown where there is no bottom!
