An Evinrude is capable of running at 5800 to 6000 rpm. This will upgrade the speed to appx. 65 or slightly more.
Currently, I have an Evinrude 150 that runs about the same as your's. I'm considering getting the thing "tuned" up to run the max. Maybe it's the prop, maybe it's the exceleration reference the carburators. I'll let the mechanic figure it out. |
