Default new project

as some of you know i do restro projects in my spare time for other poeple, but this one is a touch differant. i own this one, i got it for a fairly good price -who am i kidding i dam near stole it- a 76 chevy scottsdale 2 wheel drive long bed. inline 6, 4 speed auto tranny, and my personal favorite feature west coat mirrors..

looking to get er lowered, some gnarley rims,a whole mess of after market bolt ons. and a new hood -the currant one is almost rusted in half-going to rino line the bed add a resse hitch..going to add some #1 bling inside -make it go BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!-get every thing 1 single color. right now the primer is hiding 6 differant colored body panels..

i removed the small conner light-adding some early bling wid some strobs.also shows the fugly steel rims..

Had a '78 but after a "having a few" I recked it and sold it for $350.00. All they wanted was the engine, which was about all that was still good.
Now I've got an 85 but it aint the same as the good ol' 78.
Put $600.00 in my 85. I loaned it out to my ex (for just a couple days) and when she brought it back, it was smoking like a freight train.
Now my truck is unusable.
I guess thats what happens when you loan something (anything) to your ex.

Good thing that thing is attached to your body, so you cant loan that out to your EX. Could imagine the expression on your face when she brought it back smokin' like a freight train ? Zooker, the hoods always creased where that one did, the springs are good, and they designed the hood to bend there, designed to fold up on impact, instead of staying rigid and coming through the wind sheild cutting you in half. The scottsdale was the working mans truck, the sierra package had the better interrior package. Oh and be careful, rifle cartridges and even 2 gauge shells will fall through the defroster vents and fall to the bottom in the heater box.Its a chore to take it apart to retrieve them which I did often for fear they will discharge on their own in there. Zook, took it to Gary's and he fixed a load of stuff.
I think the problem with my truck is with the valves, it might be a seal. The bottum line is that it WILL get repaired.
