hard day fishing
hello all
I just retruned from Amon Cater had to work hard to get a bite I thought the fish would be active and in the new grass ( the lake is now full it was 12 feet low ) I went until 930 before i got a bite and then only after I saw 2 fish caught where I had just fished they where caught on a small worm I was throwing a 6 inch lizard ( a senko , spinner bait , crank bait , and even a buzz bait) finial total 11 fish all to small to keep well I supose its to the takle store and stock up on small worms weather cloudy sprinkels off and on and 20 mph wind water temp 65 - 70 water stained |

Welcome to the forum! Always glad to see a fellow Texan join.
I fish a lot with flyrod, another member here, and he loves to fish 4" Zoom Dead Ringers. Gets a lot of numbers with them.

Yeah i have a problem, i like to throw big baits! At lease you were able to finish strong! Hey Reb how does he rig the 4 incher, i use the 8 inch dead ringer alot......does he tx rig, drop shot, jig head??....or some other way? Sounds like i need to head to the bait shop as well!
