Buying some soft plastics...
I got a ton of Rapala and lucky craft lures(5 rapala dt 4' lures) And now i have 2 bags of senkos and some brush hogs from christmas. I have a $25 Gift card so im thinking about trying out those mister twister exude's, the nightcrawlers and twisty tail grubs. What do you think my best buy for soft plastics would be for the upcoming spring/summer season? Im buying from cabelas also. I was thinking about getting one of those tubs of plastic grubs.

I would look for some bins with plastics a buck a bag and see whats in those. Too bad you don't got a BPS card cause they usually always have these I know for sure. I would look into some kits also. Grubs are alright but I would not use all my money on them Get maybe some smoke and some green pumpking and be done with those. I would buy some jigs and some tube baits. Tubes are a great bait year round. Make sure you got some good hooks also for the upcomming year. You might want to get some spinnerbaits also esp if you can find some cheapos that are good looking.

Tubs of Grubs are a waste of money - too many defectives thrown in and baits that bleed on other baits.
You will probably gravitate to what you like to use and the species you fish for. Pannies, bass, pick - BPS grub page and BPS jigheads (Spring grubs) Bass on bottom - you've got that covered except for chunk trailers for jigs Bass on top - almost nothing is as good in weeds as a soft jerk stick or Trick worm with club tail; though frogs and rats are nice and let's not forget the Zoom Horny toad and Ugly Otter. Mr Twister's Comida has a nice Senko-like action and their Exude tubes are great!! |

Personal Favorite
Those of you who remember me, might already know my single choice for most Florida fishing, never larger than 6 inches though.

Fishing4Soup, as to the plastics, you say you have Senkos and Brush Hogs. I'd get some curly tail worms, finesse worms and tubes. That way you'll have something in five different categories of soft plastics.
