Launching by myself - I unhook all the straps, rear and bow. Attach rope to bow cleat, tie off other end to truck. Back the heck down the ramp till the (trailer) wheels go under, hit brake, boat floats off, pull truck up ramp. STOP, put in park, get out and untie the rope from truck and pull boat to dock and tie off. Go park truck.
***Disclaimer: I have carpeted bunks. DON'T try this if you have roller bunks or glide slicks on your carpeted bunks, being dropped on concrete is not good for boat bottoms. |
