Friday tackle test
Friday we got a bunch of mid sized 24-30 inch convicts on topwater. Rods where St Croix 8 footers and the reels are these new Doug Hannon Wave Reels.
One is first generation and the second is second generation. They performed very well with only one draw back. The handles came loose after 20 fish each. I am going to contact Doug about this and perhaps a third generation will come of it. Drags where super smooth and loops almost negated. Capt Mike

Wow great service.. Today I received replacement washers for the handles to fix the loose handle issue.
Further testing needed.. I will keep you updated. Capt Mike
