engine will run then shut off
my uncle just got a boat with a 150 johnson motor.
we took it out for the first time and we ran it across the lake then after 2 mins or so it just shut off and an alarm was going off...all the gauges were good but the alarm was buzzing every 2 seconds or so... fuel problem? oil problem? the carbs were just cleaned. any ideas...thanks. |

which alarm was beeping . i would take to shop and have checked it could be a simple as a bad connection or as bad as oil pump not working water pump did he have water coming out of pee hole.

clogged feul line, clogged feul filter. old lines. there are a number of things to check.
