Help registering Jon boat
Hi every one I'm new here and I was wondering how to go about registering my 12 foot Jon boat so I can mount my trolling motor on it. I live in Richmond va. The boat has numbers on it from a past owner but I've never registered a boat before and I have no paper for the boat as it was given to me.can I reregister it under those number the sticker on it said 99 was the year it exp. but again I don't know what I'm doin here lol. Thanks for the help in advance.

i would get a notorize paper from the person who gave you the boat get all info that is on data plate. and old reg number go to reg office and se what happens or just call them and ask what you need to do, welcome to site
