MG trolling motor prop
I have a brute 67 that takes a 3 1/2" hub prop. I fish a lot of electric only lakes and I'm looking for a better(faster) than stock prop. It seems Kipawa doesn't offer them so is there anyplace else I can get a good prop?

Motor Guide ninja prop is their "speed" prop. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...OSSSELL_SEARCH
It's meant for open water, won't be a good prop in weeds. Availabe at BPS. Two-blade is generally faster than a three. There used to be a company that made alum. trolling motor props, don't know if they are still made, they had very little flex, but were extremely hard on fingers if you inadvertently hit the on button while it was stowed. |

I'm not saying I have done this....but let's just say I will not be buying any aluminum TM props any time soon.

That leads me to my next safety tip: when you lean over the bow to hook the boat to the trailer at the ramp - UNPLUG THE T/M FIRST. Don't ask me how I figured that out.

Thanks Bassboogie..I looked at those but I thought 3 bladed props would be a faster prop. I was looking for something along the lines of kipawa but it doesn't look like I'll find it. it. The kipawa had the power and weedless features I need.
And DO NOT WANT aluminum.

The BassinBandit knows all the slapping of the prop while hooking the boat up. BWAAAAAAAAA

Haha, yeah, I can imagine a game warden coming over to your boat, wondering at the bloody mess you are "trying to hide from him." In reality, you'd just be trying to hold your intestines in.

At Slavins ramp a guy neglected to unplug his trolling motor. He hit the button while leaning over to hook the boat. Darn near split his cheek and jaw bone in half. Four deep slices on the left side of his face and the blood was everywhere. I found a clean towel and pressed the wounds till the ambulance showed. He almost passed out from it. Later I drove his boat to his house. Left his truck in the lot. Never seen him since.
