Several years back, a friend and I were fishing a medium sized pond from his jon boat. We'd already made one circuit fishing with all kinds of lures. Out of desperation, I tied on a Flying Lure. I caught the first bass in just three casts. The next one, over 4 pounds, in just another few casts.
After the fourth fish, by friend asked for one, and started catching fish, too. When we ran out (I only had one pack) ... we didn't catch another fish that day. This was a pond that was hard to get a boat to. It didn't get much pressure. I can't credit the Flying Lure as being something "new" or "that they haven't seen before"? I believe all the lures we tried fit that description. It just happened to be the ONLY thing they'd hit that day. I've never had it work THAT well, since, but it has worked. |
