Man you gotta get the rules down rotfl. IMO you should do a blind draw to be fair to all. I need to see the exact rules posted here before I make any decision to be in this tourney. Regardless of wether I enter or not, I will donate some stuff to the tourney. But having sign up close on Oct 3rd, and the tourney starts Sept 30 doesn't make much sense to me. This is your tourney, but a couple of reccomendations would be, 12" minimum(this allows for more weigh ins, and more fun for folks), LM, SM, and Spotted/Kentucky Bass only. Just suggestions, but you gotta get the rules down before you start a tourney. You got some interest obviously, so run with it.

haha ironman that's alright, We both got learning to do. Me, now i know where to fish under these conditions. Which is great, i think i will start a fishing log. Time on the water is a great way to learn, and hopefully i can get the school fishing club started to get me more fishing time. 12 inches sounds like a good size. Thats what most of todays fish were around, so its not like we are going for only lunkers here.

Probably not too accurate-there are a couple different models. Having everyone use the same one keeps it fair.

I don't know how to fish with shiners, so I won't. I believe that it should be a artificials tourney, but thats just me.
Are there any guys in my area, that would wanna be on a team?
