Default Northern Member Event 2010

Hey guys in the bass chat tonight me and Anthony started discussing a northern member event on Lake Erie/Sandusky Bay, in Sandusky, Ohio. I was thinking either July 17th and 18th or July 24th and 25th. We would fish the big lake if weather and wind permitted, but as a backup we have the Sandusky Bay, and West Harbor. Both offer great largemouth fishing if the wind goes too strong on us. I am just trying to get a gague on how many would be interested to fish this event. Any thoughts or interested members feel free to post.
We'll see what we can get going.

Ryan

It's early yet but I'll seriously consider it. Don't have a boat for the big water though. How's shore fishing? lol

Actually, there are some pretty good places to fish the bay from the bank... i do all the time. I've caught numerous 3 and 4 lb. largemouth from the bank of Erie. The pic in my avatar is from Sandusky, on the bank.

I'll definately be there with our boat. I don't know if my dad will come or not.

But our boat will only handle Erie on the calmest of days.

You guys worried about the rough water should get a kayak... That's not too far away and I have a 'yak fishin' buddy not too far away from there either. I'd consider coming over.

Paul, it would be awesome if you could attend. (on a side note, did you get my email I sent you the other day?)

Ok everybody. Me and Ryan are working out some of the details. I think we're shooting for the week of the 16-18th. (Friday to Sunday). If you think you may be able to attend, post it here, or let me or Ryan know.

We can start setting up more arangements and figure out the exact date as soon as we have enough people planning on attending. So, c'mon all you guys from Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, and others!

I would think about attending as well. As a suggestion if everyone has smaller boats maybe the castallia lakes would be better?

Sounds like fun, however I have a tournament the weekend of the 10th & 11th and then one on the 24th and 25th. So that leaves the weekend in between to spend with my daugher.
Hope you guys have a good time and catch some pigs!

Guys, I'm bringing this back up to the top with a list of people who are planning on attending or hoping to attend. We still need more people though.

Me (bigbassin144) (and most likely my dad)
