Looking at a new boat could use some help.
Okay guys the boat is a 2007 ProCraft 200 Super Pro with a 200 OptiMax I had the guy send me the hours and maintenance records for the boat, It has roughly 300 hours on it he had a new impeller put on it back in 2009 then in 2010 he had another impeller put on and all the gaskets. That's about it I just wanted to know if that's to many hours and what else I should ask the guy before making the purchase.
Thanks Guys. |

300 hours doesn't SEEM too much to me, but i would change out the impeller again, fluchit out REAL good. compression check, new plugs and so forth.
i would LOOK CLOSELY at the rear and see if there are ANY cracks along the motor mounting area. even a hair line crack could be trouble. have a boat shop look it over.

You got the motor output records? I see where you said you had the records. It should have a RPM percentage and show if he babied it or was balls to the wall. If you didn't get this information I would pull it to a boat mechanic and let them plug it in.

Okay man I didn't get the output record I personally know the the first owner and he rode it balls to the wall but he only put 90 hours on it, I don't know how the guy who owns it now was to it but I will find out.
Thanks man |
