Have a compression check and a leakdown test done before you buy at THERE cost. If nothing is wrong with the motor they wont mind doing it and you will have great info on what condition the motor is. Boat looks super and price is right. Thats the main reason for the comp check and leakdown test.

that is the xo66 yamaha a carbed v-6 which will CHUG gas. but it will haul azz for sure.. it is rare that skeeter puts a 150 on an 18 foot boat.. they tend to underpower there boats more than any boat company i seen..
i totally dislike skeeter boats. so you don't want my opinion.. zooker

I looked at the exact same boat. Nice looking, a little high I'd think for that year/model though. Definitely get the compression test, rods/arms, leakdown, etc., done before a purchase. No need to put off a few well-worth dollars to have a breakdwon on the water.

Good looking boat ,I agree a little pricey for a '99 and I would prefer a 20 ft.I'd have it checked out real good.

Two things...first, the description says it is a dual console boat, but the photos show a single console. If they messed up on something that obvious, I would double check everything else.
Second, I don't know where you fish, but that is a rough riding boat. Skeeters are known for it. The new i series boats are much better, but at close to 60 grand, they had better be. Invest in a good kidney belt if you are going to spend any time on big water.

dawg i have had nothing but fun with my stratos. with the boat it self i have had ZERO problems and i use the hell out of it.. it has had encounters with 3 deer 2 dogs 5 cats and a spare tire-in a pear tree-...
i even did some umm tinkering with the moter.. and have run 41.2 gps with a 50 horse yammer on a 16 foot glass boat. try getting this some time with a STOCK power head, which mine is.. love my lil stratos will likely buy another.. zooker

That is a great looking boat, I agree with the price being too high. Who the hell cares which one is faster ? I am usually out there with the trolling motor down and fishing.I ain't at all interested in running fast, just rather be out there fishing . Lmao.... P N J

That is the biggest crock of sh!t, I have ever heard. You mean to tell me , that on those Southern lakes, you all have to run to the same damned spot to fish ? There ain't no fish any where else, but one spot on the entire lake ? It ain't got nothing to do with being there first in order to catch the biggest fish. It's all about the grand illusions thought up to justify buying a fast watersled. It's about being a speed freak, catching fish takes a back seat to being a speed freak.Lmao....P N J
