I'm definitely getting a mattlures bluegill soon, as all the lakkes I fish have them, but none have trout, so its a waste of money to buy trout.

I know a guy who uses the Matt lures bluegill on beds religiously. He swears by it. He says it suspends nose down so it looks like it is "pecking" at the eggs. He says his best times is when the eggs are already laid and are being guarded. He said he pulls up on a bed, catches the male with something small, puts that bluegill on the bed, then backs off out of sight and waits for the female. He said he has to get way back or the bigger females will not come back up. He is a big believer in it.

I just ordered tsunami swim baits. They come as big as 9 inches long (doesn't say the weight).
5" (per 4) - 3.29 6" (per 4) -$3.49 7" (per 2) - $3.49 9" (each) - $4.29 I am going to try them off deep drop offs once my depth finder comes. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...equestid=71778 I ordered the golden bunker color. You can see a picture here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...3366&rd=1&rd=1 Here is another color: blue/black http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...3354&rd=1&rd=1 Chartreuse/Silver http://cgi.ebay.com/Tsunami-6-Hologr...QQcmdZViewItem They are the cheapest at Cabelas I am pretty sure. Correct me if I am wrong. If the links don't come through, just copy paste them into the address bar. |

Those are pretty good looking, let us know how they sink, swim, suspend, catch fish, etc!

I don't like storm swimbaits, I only use them for rock fish.

I have the rof 12 because with the 0 rof you can't fish it deep.

I'm going to find out. I think It will be a good one, I just want an ROF 5 and an ROF 12 as well. This was just the first one I won on ebay, they tend to go as high as retail there most of the time lol.

The reason why I have the rate of fall of 12 is because I can fish it on the bottom and not get stuck because the hook is on top.
