This crew wanted to fill a cooler so we went cat fishing. With four on board the cane pole flipping was out of the question. Got some good fresh bait and the west wind was strong but manageable. On they way to our first spot my lying machine was all lit up with fish. I had to stop and drop the hook..good thing as it was almost non stop till the grass came in and fouled our lines. So with a very full live well we moved to another spot. But the wind and current did not look safe. So we moved again to an area that has bigger cats but they had left the area to spawn. The wind turned more north and made for sporty ride back in. With that north wind it was no use attempting another anchor set so we called it a day with almost 20 cats in the well. Caught many whisker less striped cats as well. This one was hog tied was not getting away.
