Default Cajun Red Line

I bought some of this stuff on the trip to Florida, and so far, I really really like it. I got it in the 14 pound variety, anybody used anything heavier?

I was rather skeptical about it when I bought it, but it does seem to be as good as advertised, really can't see it once it gets into the water.

Great product!

i think the red cast is better than the lightning red line. not so sure u will catch any more fish or not. i dont think i caught any more or less fish by using it. i used the red cast on an open face spinning reel and casts well.
i dunno everything and little much about nothing. my .02

i would have to agree with dodge......red cast is pretty darn nice....i have been using it on my open reel as well as my baitcasters and it's a sweet line indeed.....i've never used anything heavier than 14 so can't help ya there......but all in all i think it's a very good quality line......

I like it too, but I do not currently have any on my reels at the moment. I like Pline Floro and Silverthread.

I tried some 20# Cajun. Took it out 1 time came home stripped it off and trashed it. I am using what is left as backing for braid. The 20# is good for making slinky's only for the kids or as backing.

you probably put on red lightning.it's stiff and is not meant for casting.it was meant for trolling.there are 4 different cajun red lines.red cast is the best.

Dodge---You were right it says Lightning but why don't they identify it for trolling not casting. Probably would keep more customers that way.
