I like using trick worms a lot, because they produce a large amount of bass. But I need some advice on whether to rig them weightless, or with a split shot up the line a ways. Thanks!

I fish them mostly either rigged wacky or as a floating worm rig.

ok i am the freak here-no suprise-i rig mine with a 1/16 oz bullet nose pegged 1/2" above the the hook i put a #7 glass bead and a steel clacker between the bullet and the hook. the idea is that when worked the bead hits both the bullet and the clacker. with a long pause between my twitches.

I fish these weightless and it has been working good.
I fish them slow, a few jerks and twitches. reel and pause. Switch it up. Good luck.

If they produce a large amount of bass for you, I would think that you know quite well how to rig them. |

I rig my trick worms weightless. My 3.5" Tiki Sticks are rigged with a split shot attached about 8" above the hook.
