Default Wood, for Spring

Well I've definately noticed a pattern the last couple of years(since I've really been looking for one) That is that once the Ice is off the water, the fish relate specifically to wood/laydowns/brush piles. I realize they like these spots year around, however since ther vegetation hasn't grown yet, therefor the best cover I've found is the wood. This is based on the fish moving up shallower, not the deep patterns. Those are the ones I can't seem to get a hold of. I would fish the wood from top to bottom, and then try another bait. The Bass are keying on the wood so you should be also. This isn't some revelation, just soem basic info for a few beginners, I assume most of the experienced anglers would already know this info. Anyway go catch a Hawg.
