what is the best way to remove black marks from fiberglass boats.

Try spraying them with WD-40. I've used that to remove black marks and it worked pretty well.

Thats exactly what the mechanic sayed at the boat shop that I visit. WD 40.

WD-40 or Skin So soft by Avon. Stuff works great for bug and tar removal also
