Re: Creme worms
I like em pretty well. Heck I caught alot of fish on them when I was younger. They're hard to find around here anymore. I used to just Texas rig em, never tried to finesse em. Oh yeah try the Black ones

Re: Creme worms
They work fairly well. I've caught a few out on long lake weightless, and the smaller ones w/ the different color tails work very good. also when you want to go for the natural apearance they have the best color.

Re: Creme worms
I love the original creme worm. Think about it like this, they have been in business producing the same product for more years than most of us have been alive. They work very well in a lot of situations. I use them a lot in place of trick worms. The one difference between creme and a lot of other soft plastics, is that they are not so soft. They are a harder plastic. This does not inhibit their fish catching ability. Good fishing

Re: Creme worms
First worms that I ever used. I think that all the worms available were the creme, Manns Jelly worms , and Flipptail worms.
Caught fish on all of these baits. I liked to fish with the creme worms with the dots on them. I.E. black w/white dots and aÂ*spinner in front. |

Re: Creme worms
We used to rig them with a two hook harness, with a kink in the worm so it would corkscrew through the water on a retrieve. Leave a short leader, and a barrel swivel to stop line twist. Cast 'em out and reel 'em back. We called it a Sh*t worm, or a idiot rig. Caught the devil out of fish on them back then. I wonder why I don't use it anymore? Ummmmm I'll have to think about that one.

Re: Creme worms
Zook Im sure you still have a bunch of everything laying around. New and improved doesn't always mean better. I still have a triple blade gold inline spinner that I use w/ a worm pretty regularly. My grandfather taught that trick to me when I was a lil one, still catches fish and multiple ways to present with it. 8)

Re: Creme worms
hey just for giggles, has anyone ever used those gummi worms ?I've thought about it more than once.I think they'd hold up for a while depending on water temp, they do have flavor and scent(hey I remember using blueberry creme worms)...I don't know about the action though..
