Default Sugar Creek

Hit Sugar Creek here in Crawfordsville last night for the first time this year. Stood on top of the spillway casting down into the turbid waters. It's awesome to see all of the minnows, thousands of them, at the base of this spillway. Can't figure out if they like it like that or if they just can't get away from the powerful water. Anyway, just keeping a close eye on the waters you can see smallies chasing and gorging themselves on these minnows. We landed about 6-7 decent ones and my buddy landed the biggest smallmouth I've ever seen in person. Had to be 20" if not more. It was ginormous!
