weather forecast for florida

how are you all going over in the US. I am asking for some local knowledge on the weather pattens this time of year in the state of florida as my old's are heading over there in 3 weeks time and are staying there for a month.
In todays sydney paper there is a article warning of a tropical storm (Arlene) that may reach hurricane strength before landfall. it states that Arlene is southeast of Mississippi and moving north.
Is this the normal weather pattens for this time of the year.


I apologize in my slow responce to any post as I do not own a computer I use the one at work.
