I was wondering if you could hook the worm once like you usually do then hook it agian the same way but where it almost sticks out................ Just an idea to make the wacky rig weedless

they make a worm that can be texas rigged and it looks like it's wacky worm heres a pic

Dyas. I sometimes Texas rig my floating worms in the middle. Pretty much the same as wacky rigging just a little bit less action. Not much though.
If you just want to cover the hookpoint then just put a little piece of worm on it. |

Yep. Just put the point back into the bait.
I have used the wacky worm shown. Use a 1/0 worm hook and they do work. |

Â* Â*I just use a hook with a built in weed gaurd. I have had no problems at all. I have been pitchin' with this rig , in and around lay downs with great results.
