Re: Who is ready for some football?
i dont know, if TO is back then mcnabb might try to throw to him to much and TO wont be able to make some of those catches and w/ the pats secondary they might get intercepted. but i do think there will be alot of pressure on the pats because they will be expected to win this game, but on the other hand the pressure will be equaly great on the eagles because they havnt got to the super bowl in a long time and they will feel that they have to win the game. this pressure could cause both teams to make some big mistakes but more of them will be on the eagles because the pats have been to the bowl alot more than the eagles and the pats imo will handle the pressure alot better

Re: Who is ready for some football?
I am in utter shock still about the Colts vs. Pats game.....I am about the biggest Peyton fan to ever live so I actually cried when they lost.....I thought they were unstoppable this year. I hate to say it, but the only way they are going to the Super Bowl in the future, is to win the regular season game against Pats so they have home field against them in the playoffs.. It's a shame the 2nd best team in the league had to lose so early....
Super Bowl prediction..... Pats 34 Eagles 10 Catch em up Brian |

Re: Who is ready for some football?
You seriously think the Colts would have won at home? I disagree.
Eagles, shut down Corey Dillon? Ok, if he can average over 3 yards a carry against Pittsburgh, then he can do good things against Phillie. Dillon has only played two playoff games, yet look at him. He is fun to watch. He is good at seeming to go down at the line of scrimmage, yet managing to get 4-5 yards anyways. Good reciever too, typically. If Deion Branch and Tom Brady can keep that stuff up, then the Eagle's defense better literally watch their backs. Pats' defense is underrated too if you ask me. Bruschi, McGinest, Seymour... they all can make good plays at good times. By all, I mean the entire line. I'm not sure what the board has against the New England teams, yet again, southerners. |

the docter has no say in it. the coach says who plays and who doesnt. i dont think he should play. he could risk not being able to play next season if he screwes somthin up agian. also it might actually help the eagles if he doesnt play |

Re: Who is ready for some football?
National signing day coming up. UF looks to have gotten a few good prospects here. Theres still 2-3 that are tossing up schools until Wed. Hope ya'lls teams have picked up something good. SEC overall sounds like it has done fairly well. Could make for an interesting year. Im predicting at least 2 SEC teams in Top 5. 8)

Re: Who is ready for some football?
Ah yes recruiting. We have 31 commits so far, but there is likely to be some attrition due to grades, ect. After probation its clear that we have to catch up quick on the number of scholarshiped players. One things for sure, no more running out of QBs or RBs midseason due to injury - we have 4 excellent runningbacks committed and 3 very good quarterbacks.

Re: Who is ready for some football?
Rebb, has Fran recruited many Offensive linemen? His two classes here left us incredibly bare at that position.

Re: Who is ready for some football?
Yep, and he redshirted them. We have some absolute hosses that will be playing as redshirt freshmen next fall. Hopefully that and a couple of blue chip running backs he also redshirted will give us some added punch for our offense-we lacked a running game last year.

Re: Who is ready for some football?
Well, I'm glad that things are turning out good for yall. I still have a gut liking of Texas A&M because of my familiarization with Coaches Bryant, Stallings and Sherrill, I just dont care too much for Fran.
We might have 3 freshmen and a sophomore on the LOS next year. Gonna have air it out to set up the run, I'm afraid. At least the skill players will have experiance. |
