killin 'em w/ spinners

had a chance to go do some fishing today. And went to a lake that ive fished hundreds of times, except this time i went near the dam ( never fished this area before) the water is pretty clear and when your up on the bridge thats over the dam and look down you can see just about every fish down in the water. well anyways, i walked down to the shore line and started w/ some tube baits, after about 20 minutes or so landed a nice 2-1/2 pounder, then after that went cold for about an hour . within this hr i probably changed 3 diffrent baits and still nothing. so last resort i strapped on a black spinner bait and they just kept pounding it, within the first 5 minutes i landed 3 nice bass all over 2 lbs. and 2 that jumped off (not a good enough hook set i guess) but if i would have landed them it would have made 6 nice bass for the day. but ill take the 4 i did land ;D ;D, needless to say this is my new spot, hope they hit that good again tomarrow cause ill be going back
