flbassman, if you happen to live in the orlando area, you can get mohawk canoes factory direct. My 16 ft fiberglass canoe was only $395 because we got it straight from the factory. All the other canoes I saw at any other store like bass pro were well over $600.

I have a 2004 Nitro 911 CDC with a 225 Optimax. I have been fishing out of a bay boat the last few years and decided it was time for a bass boat since most of my fishing was fresh water anyway. The fact that I couldn't keep up with the rest of the guys in the tournaments was a factor, too.

I've got 2, but the one I fish out of is described below.

Nothing special about it. I am in the middle of building decks on it now so it can have more a bass boat feel to it.

Booger, I don't know how your Norris Craft is layed out, but just be aware that adding decks to it will add a lot of weight. Â*It might be ok, just be sure to think that issue through.

I've got a 16 ft Carolina Skiff that I decided to go with just putting clamp on seat swivles onto the bench seats for that reason. Â*It has sort of a "retro" look back to the old bass boats.

I'm not saying don't add decks, just make sure you figure on the weight. Â*I know a lot of people who do it with no problem. Â*
