Re: flipping and pitching
PRETJAH,
Â* Â* Go back to the introduction of this site and click on the "ARTICLES" tab. There should be enough information there to keep you busy for weeks about everything related to fishing. Â* Â* When you finish those articles, go to http://bassresource.com/html/contents.html and scroll down to "Power Fishing, Pitchin & Flippin by Mike Iaconelli" Â* Â* When you finish all those articles, go to http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/ for 184 more articles on fishing. Â* Â* After you absorb all the information in these three sites, I fully expect to see you on the Bassmaster circuit. JackL |

JackL
I suspect you do most of your flippin with one of the digits of your right hand. How have you and this site been behaving ? I've been away from this site for a few months due to business demands. I hope to some day retire and become a fisherman of leisure like yourself. Senior |

CULPRITS,
I somehow figured that you were away on business (90 days with time off for good behavior) Lizards has been expounding on 6 inch black worms while you were gone. I accused him of trying to incur a reserection. Now I know it is possible. Glad to see you back. JackL |

Re: flipping and pitching
Welcome Pretjah. There is a great DVD put out by BPS with Kevin Van Dam. Zooker told me about it. Very informative. It should clear up any questions. It's called "Pitchin to Heavy Hitters".

Re: flipping and pitching
dont limit your lures to just jigs..spinnerbaits and crankbaits can be pitched and flipped as well as any other soft plastics or stickbait.
I set up small bowls and plates in my backyard and practice flipping and pitching on those days I can't make it to the water(remember to stand on a platform or something thats about cinder block high)..the object is for me to drop these baits in the bowl without a lot of splash or hit the plate with as little noise as possible..It's done wonders for my accuracy, but now all I want to do is pitch! 8) So remember...how do you get to the big show???PRACTICE!! |

Re: flipping and pitching
I must be the only person in the world who'd rather take a whipping than flip or pitch. That's almost like real work to me.

No you're not the only one, I dislike it also, but do it when I have too Just like doing something you know you're gonna get in trouble for, but you decide to take the beating ;D Lizards |

Most important for this type fishing to me is::: Equipment, I have been using the Jeane Flippin & Pitchin reel for about 2 years. This reel is awsome and is only made for use flippin & pitchin. You can not use it wrong. Send me an e-mail and I wlll send you a picture of it and where to get it ( Made in USA )
