Lure Help
I am fishing a reservoir, and the water is very high. This is a small reservoir! I am also shore fishing, and the water temp. is very cold, i dont know the exact temp. It has some weird weeds or sticks, there almost like bamboo. I was just wondering what some of the best lure choices are, particular, soft plastics, colors, brands, and how to fish them, and what part of the res. It is a about 20-30 ft. deep. Thanks.

Re: Lure Help
i would use a crank bait and just retrieve it real slow
remeber the coldder the slower the retrieve because the fish aren't that active if its real cold or even some live bait will work well AGAIN SLOW RETRIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Lure Help
If its super cold water like here in the north, I would find shallow warm water and try a jig, maybe 3/8 with my spring fav. a punkin seed claw with chartuese tips, or the tradtional pig n jig and fish any reeds or stickups you can find, and remember spring fishing this early is slow, just enjoy the day out there!
