Problem with my BBZ-1 slow sink!
Ok, so I got my BBZ slow sink in the mail on Monday after it being in back order for a month, looked great! But didn't get to use it till yesterday (Saturday). I tied on a Palomar to the horizontal line tie (no O ring) and cast it out (cast a mile) let it sink for 10 seconds, and started reeling, it started moving off to the left like a crank bait would if it isn't running true. It just gets worse from here. I reeled it close to land where I could see it swim, it flipped belly up and rolled over some. But on a crank, the line tie is vertical, so you turn it to right if it's moving left, and vis versa. But with spro bbz, it has a horizontal line tie, so you can't bend it one one way. I'm not sure what to do, can I send it the spro web sight and get a replacement, or should I send it back to LBF (Land Big Fish) where I got it from, or should I just add an O ring to it? Anyone else have this happen, what did you do? Oh and it's the 4" model!
Thanks!

Try tying on a snap first. I use a snap clip, with out the swivel, with my TruTungstin 4"swimbait and it runs true every time.

Try a rapala knot (may be what BB is refering to as a loop knot)

Ya, I'll def try the rapala knot! I also need to get some heavy Split rings (what I was calling an O ring).
How the rapala knot with braid?

I throw the same bait and don't have that issue at all. In fact I have not seen that issue in the 4 bbz I own. I would send it back.
