well my little girl was practicing casting in the yard. had a soda can half way(about 20 feet)across to aim at. well she wound up casting a bit far and the little plastic plug cracked the neighbors car window. ;D im so proud! that was like a 40 foot cast for a little girl on a cheasy little walmart rod!!!! ;D

Snag, in order to post a picture you need to upload it someplace on the web and then link to it. There are a number of free pic hosting sites on the web, or just email it to me and I'll upload and post it for you.

Hopefully your neighbor fishes and might even understand how it happened. Still got to be proud.

Re: kid just broke neighbors window
She just cracked it? Next time take a 3/4 ounce jig (you don't need a trailer with it) clip off the hook (you don't want your little girl to hook herself) and then let her cast it. That window will explode!

Re: kid just broke neighbors window
At least you're outside teaching your daughter how to cast. It's more than some parents do for their children.

Snag,
Where do you live? Wanna make sure I never park anywhere near your house! ;D Great story. I can't wait to teach my daughter how to fish. Just got to get her here first! |

Re: kid just broke neighbors window
I'd love to teach my kids to fish.
But, uh, yeah, obvious reasons why I can't right now. (No JackL, I'm not a eunec...) |
