Re: prop too big?
It ia an 11 1/2 by 19p. I thought it should have about a 13 or 15 since it is on a fiberglass boat

Re: prop too big?
kinda boggy doesn't describe begin to describe it. With just myself it is a little boggy but with 2 people it may take over a minute to get it to plane out.Even then i cant trim it hardly at all before the nose starts coming back up.but with one person it will eventually trim up and scoot nicely across the lake.problem is that i dont have a tach on it to find my rpm's.

Re: prop too big?
according to my sorces a 19p is the highest pitch you can buy for that moter rudes run 15-19p i would either move down to a 17p or a 15p a 15 will get you out of the hole and on plane quite well but you lose about 5 mph off your top end. a 17 would be inbetween still a tad boggy but only 2-3 off the top end.
i am currantly awaiting a ss prop for my yamaha. cableas have them for your moter at $230 plus shipping. zooker
