Welcome Back From Iraq
The 300th Military Police Co of Ft Riley has just returned from 12 months duty in Iraq. They are planing a Welcome home Bass tournament on Aug 28th. I have committed 250 packs of NetBait and other items to this cause. If anyone of you or any board sponsors could help with this it would be great. These folks were in Iraq while all of us were bass fishing. They need our support. thanks Lakeguide

Re: Welcome Back From Iraq
What do you need, Larry? If I was closer I'd offer the use of my boat, but since I'm not, how else can I help?

What he said. I'd be more than happy to help out however I can, just not sure what I could do. Donations? Some of my stuff? And if so where do I send it? I love all those guys/gals that were there making the WORLD a safer place. And anywhere else they may be, or have been. Lizards |

Re: Welcome Back From Iraq
LARRY,
Where is the tourney going to be held? Ft. Riley is only about 125 miles Northwest of me. Is there anything I can do from here? Is it going to be held at Milford reservoir? JackL |

Re: Welcome Back From Iraq
Fella's,
I contacted Larry this afternoon to see if there is anything that those of us that want to can do to help with this fishing tournament. He gave me an E-mail address for someone to contact. As soon as I hear back from him I'll let you know what we can do. I did ask Larry if we could place orders with him and have him ship to the organizers and he said he would be more than happy to do it. I'll keep you posted. |

Re: Welcome Back From Iraq
Sorry I have not posted in a while. We were at the FLW show all last week. Spent Sunday and Monday putting the warehouse back togather. I sent tackle and door prizes out there today. I am sure they could use moral support, So just send James an email and see what more we could do. Lakeguide
I thank all of you !!!!! Ann does too ! |

Re: Welcome Back From Iraq
P N J,
Milford Res. is in KANSAS, you lout!!! It's about 125 Northwest of me at Junction City. I havn't fished that lake in years. I was not aware the bass had made a comeback, it was always a walleye and crappie lake, with a few smallies in some areas. At least they picked a very fine day for a tourney, ON ME BIRTHDAY!!! Who built the piramids in Egypt? Who dug the river called the Nile? I'd like to tell you more about me, but you can see that would take quite a while!!! JackL |
