i just recieved a spool of cajun red line 14lb test. The diameter is relatively small for it's test weight. Has any one tried this stuff yet?

I haven't,
but I love the science of it! It either it looks like the blood of your lure, or from what I've heard when watching the Bassmasters Classic a couple weeks ago, the bass can't see the line, because it's red. I really don't understand that, but that's what I heard. |

Red is the first color in the spectrum to fade out at depth, so I think the theory is you can see it above water but the color fades under water. Haven't tried it myself-I'll stick with green Trilene XL.

I'd be willing to try it, but if I lost a fish because of it breaking I'd be one angry hombre.

Redbasser is right, red is the first color in the spectrum you loose at depth. learned that from scuba diving. so that is why fish dont see it. i dont think i would use it at night because light brings the color back out.

Makes you wonder why all the hoopla about another infomercial, the one with flshing red lights ??? If it disappears at depth, wouldn't be more like a disco with flashing white lights, lets go disco with John Travolta;D Lizards |
