Yes they have lots of colors. Use the same colors that are working for you now In clearer water I prefer lighter colors, in stained or dirty water I prefer darker colors. But if you use black plastics now and catch fish then use the same color, no matter what brand you like. Lizards |

Re: Tiki-Stiks
If you like the baby bass/pearl swirl check out the watermelon/chartreuse swirl. AWESOME color. I have caught a bunch on both colors.

Re: Tiki-Stiks
Thanks for the info rebbasser. Which of the two do recommend Tiki or Senko? Should I just try both?

Re: Tiki-Stiks
To be honest I've never used a Senko. Started with Stick-Os from BPS-still use them-along with Yum Dingers and Tikis. Heard the Senkos were expensive and tear up easy, so I just tried the knockoffs and haven't been disappointed.

Re: Tiki-Stiks
I've used senkos and tiki-stiks and I've never caught anything on them. I figure its probably best to stick with the basics (crankbaits, spinnerbaits, plastic worms)cause after awhile if everyone is using those, the fish might get conditioned to it.

Re: Tiki-Stiks
hula
you can't get anymore basic than a senko type worm..you just got to give it a fair chance.and fish it in the right place.think like a bass, where would you be?now go catch some bass on a senko when i say senko i mean any senko type baits,i've tried many and the all work good. |

Re: Tiki-Stiks
How many packs of stick bait do you use per year? less than a hundred bags? , then buy Senko! It is worth it.

REBBASSER, Thanks for the info on the TIKI STIKS, bought the junebug/chartreuse and watermelon/chartreuse also picked up black. Tried them out on Thurs. afternoon along some algae blooms and tree lines, boated 5-6 -2-5# fish. Something new in the arsenal now.

Re: Tiki-Stiks
It's been over a week since I last preached the Slug-go.
Slug-gos aren't even a senko knockoff. In fact, they were around before senkos. You can use a faster retrieve with same results. Great action with just a small twitch! I've found red shad to be a great color in many conditions. |
