Lake LBJ Guide Report
Water stained; 74-76 degrees; 824.83':
Largemouth are very good to 6 lbs on rip rap and boulder rock in 4'-8' using Silver 1/4 oz. buzzbaits, Texas rigged black/blue 5" Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) and green Photon crankbaits (www.photonlures.com). Minimal schooling activity from small bass on Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and smoke 3" grubs & 4" plastic jerkbaits. Striped Bass are fair to good at night on silver Terminator In-Line spinners and 3" white grubs. White Bass are good at night in 8'-20' on 1-1/2" Lit'l Fishie Shads. After daylight, trolling Tiny Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) and Shad Raps are best techniques. Crappie are fair to good in 22' along bridge supports on live minnows and Curb's crappie jigs.
