Lucky Craft® Live Pointer Hardbaits
Any of you guys use these? Looks like it would work really well but for the price they are I figured I would ask those who know about your experiences with them. What do you think of them? How do you like to fish them? Trash? Treasure? Heres a pic incase you don't know what lure i'm reffering to. I guess basically are they worth the 20bucks a pop?

I have only one live pointer but I have a bunch of other jerkbaits and I fish them the same way. According to what the bass want. here is my bait its shell color and I replaced the front treb with a red Daiichi treb.
as far as trash or treasure I dont think it catches anymore then my husky jerks do. But you can buy one and try it, if you dont have the twenty bucks buy a rapala X-rap they work good too. |

this pointer has giving me my biggest disapointment in a hard bait. i have one and i rarely use it.. a 128 or a 78 pointers work much better..

If you think by the way it's designed that it actually wiggles(bends on the retrieve) you are wrong. It retrieves just like any other hard jerkbait. I'm with zooker, they were a huge dissapointment, and also very light weight, which is hard to get distance with. I prefer other jerkbaits, but they can catch fish.

Tried and True always outfishes new and flashy. That, and I almost won the lunk pool with a jig (Stone Jig) and a trailer (Strike King 3x crawfish) I picked out of a the clearance box. $65 on a $1.20 worth of lure.

Lucky Craft Pointer 78 SP is one of my favorites. I like the shell white, ms american shad and im gettin a misty shad. 20 bucks for a lure is high, but in my opinion, i rather buy quality then quanity.
